RAGASZTOTT FA

The main advantage of glued laminated timber beams is that they are much more durable than normal timber beams. Its superior quality lies in the bonding technology, where a special adhesive holds the smaller layers of wood lamellae together. This means that the glued timber beam will not warp or crack, and its improved technical properties allow it to span larger spans with ease.

Since the gluing is done from different sizes of wood, we can tailor the length to your specific needs . At the end of the production process, the beams have a nice, planed surface without any cracks or major warping. This way, our buildings will not only be of a particularly high quality, but also timeless and aesthetically pleasing.

The surface treatment is done by painting. We use the highest quality Remmers products for painting. One option is the use of full coverage paints, which completely hide the grain and texture of the wood and are available in the full RAL colour range.

The other option – thin varnish – is recommended for customers who want to enjoy the natural finish of the wood and who are specifically interested in seeing the structure and grain of the wood.

Thin lazur paints are available from the given range.

Advantages
Disadvantage
heavy duty, durable design
periodic aftercare, painting
quality, natural appearance
10-20% larger cross-sections compared to iron solutions
does not crack or warp (unlike normal construction timber)
easy, on-site machinability
Spans over 6m are also possible
lower cost prices

IRON END SECTIONS

The construction industry is increasingly turning to a variety of steel locking components, which can be used to make countless segments more modern, durable and cost-effective.

Square locking sections have perfect load-bearing capacity in all directions, so they are mainly used for the construction of support columns.
The rectangular shaped end section is excellent for welding and drilling, so it is used primarily for the construction of elements and rafters.

Our iron structures are made in a locksmith’s workshop according to a production plan and are fixed on site with screws after surface treatment.

The surface is powder-coated (sintered) in two layers to provide special outdoor protection. The full RAL colour range is available for spraying, so the structure can be integrated into any environment.

Another option is galvanised, where the surface is given a special anti-corrosion protection, which allows them to be used in designs that are exposed to severe weather conditions. For maximum protection, powder coating is also possible after galvanising.

Advantages
Disadvantage
heavy duty, durable design
requires prefabrication, no on-site modification of the structure possible
smaller, more modern cross-sections
the 6m fibre length of the end sections makes it difficult to bridge larger spans
lower cost prices among metal solutions

ALUMINIUM END SECTIONS

Aluminium lock sections are a highly ductile product with excellent mechanical properties for their weight , good weldability, corrosion resistance and long life.

Another key advantage of aluminium locking sections is that they have perfect edges and boundary surfaces, giving them a material quality with an exclusive finish. The surfaces are perfectly smooth and free of dirt. The edges are not rounded (radiused) and there are no production seams along the length of the lock section, which is typical of iron lock sections.

As with iron structures, the surface treatment is done by powder coating (sintering) in two layers, which provides special outdoor protection. The full RAL colour range is available for spraying, so the structure can be integrated into any environment.

Advantages
Disadvantage
heavy duty, durable design
requires prefabrication, no on-site modification of the structure possible

the most expensive version
